[Yes, right now. Moon bunnies wait for nobody! He arrives after a while, noting the bedroom and heading towards the door of the house to knock politely.]
[ The way BB gets up and quickly squeaks to ready everything together, she is still new to keeping her form and didn't ready her AI to substitute for herself. Instead... She writes a sticky note and slaps it on her forehead.
Totally going to work? Right?
Anyway, there is one note on the door that says: Come in when you are here! - BB β‘
The other one on the big bunny's forehead says: Here Hyth! BB has to do some work so she can't be there right now... Hope that's okay - BB β‘
Ah yes... Her masterful plan. Will surely fool him.
The grey bunny with a moon-speckled butt spot on her fur. Looks up at him with a little nose wiggle. She is super tense and nervous, considering she is huge for one - but also, this is her first time pretending to be a BUNNY. She hasn't had enough practice yet. ]
[Hythlodaeus enters the house curiously, and bends to pluck the note from the bunny's head.]
Hello there...
[He eyes the note, then the bunny. Even without his soul sight, something seems amiss. Why would BB invite him over and then leave him with the critter? He crouches down, and reaches out to pat the creature behind the ears.]
Well, if you'd prefer I told nobody, then I won't. But I won't be so easily fooled, BB.
[Still, he smiles and pulls some chocolate from a pocket in his robes, breaking some off and offering it up for the rabbit to nibble on.]
[ What a nitwit, truly, trying to fool what BB effectively believes is an Alien God or entity of similar capacity. You see her entirely tense up more, with her furs bristling upwards but then settling as she tries to deal with the fact that she - failed, and rather stupidly too. ]
Um... [ Her ears hang all the way back and line against her body, with her nose twitching rapidly as she speaks, nervously looking away. ] No don't tell anyone.... BB wants to play with them....
[ BB just - PUFFS UP! She never has been pat before, let alone in another form. It is a strange feeling, but she seems to welcome it immediately. Leaning into the pat and shutting her eyes briefly until she sniffs the chocolate and excitedly begins nibbling on it!! ]
Oh, chocolate!!! [ Her nose wiggles, ] BB loves chocolate... Yum!! How could you tell, anyway?
You invited me over and then disappeared as soon as I arrived, leaving only a bunny to greet me. I confess that it was mostly an educated guess, but I thought I'd say something anyway.
[She could have remained silent and acted like a bunny and he might have second guessed himself, though he'd have been suspicious still.]
[ Don't mind her she is GRUMPILY eating her chocolate, if you have ever seen a bunny munch on something then swing it around to make it come closer. It is much like that, and then she veers herself so her butt faces Hyth. Very grumpily, begins to mumble. ]
Yeah well, I hope he gives it back to you and it comes back WRONG! [ She mumbles further, ] Cause it could you know!!
[ She supposes he could, with these neat pats and more chocolate. BB nibbles a bit more gently rather than being ferocious with her eating. Ears flick forward only once to let him pet her more plainly, ] More chocolate is good, more chocolate for the new Rabbit Queen of course!
[ Theres some chit chittering of her eating, and then she says curiously, ]
MOMMY VENAT? [ She says out loud, indiscriminately. ] No way? BB-chan wouldn't have thought so... BB will have to tell her right away. BB has seen her dog familiar, it's very cute - looks a bit too human actually.... But anyway, what about Hythlodaeus-san? What did you make?
[He snort laughs, covering his mouth with an amused chuckle. Hearing a bunny yell that is absolutely hilarious.]
Yes, mommy Venat likes bunnies.
[He shakes his head, though.]
Ah... nothing of great import. My job was mostly to approve or deny everyone else's concepts! A concept could be anything from a critter to a plant, to an every day item. And as Chief of the Bureau of the Architect, my job was to have the final say in whether those creatures or items would be allowed to exist on our star.
[ Yes Mommy, a teasing way she calls her. It is likely going to be one of those things that don't make Venat uncomfortable, like BB hopes it might. The same way she had hoped it'd make Maruki squirm, until it didn't. ]
Interesting... Was this method of concept approval, [ Her eyes are sparkling, what a neat conception. ] implemented to prevent the redundancy of concepts or the repetition of overlapping details?
'Twas implemented to avoid destroying the ecosystem we carefully crafted, of course. And allowing just any concept to be approved would be a disaster. I'll have you know, I am the reason eight-legged sharks did not exist! And nobody thanked me!
[He doesn't even sound angry, though. He's obviously amused by the entire experience, as evidenced by his giggling afterwards.]
Believe me, overlapping details did not matter overmuch. We didn't have eight-legged sharks, but we approved plenty more. They were quite popular at one time.
WHY WOULD ANYONE COME UP WITH SOMETHING SO RIDICULOUS? WHAT IS THE MEANING OF GIVING THEM MORE LIMBS? [ Thank you Hyth, we are forever in your debt. ] Why would you even want them to walk across lands? In BB's universe Sharks are water-bound and have not left the ocean whatsoever...
BB cannot believe sharks were so popular... Maybe not, because in her realm, the humans were so obsessed with Sharks in tornadoes that they continued making movies about it.
Oh, walking or flying sharks were not inherently bad. Boring, perhaps, but not bad. But some bordered on ridiculous. Why would a shark need multiple heads and mouths? At some point, you simply have to put your foot down!
[Which he did, many times... though perhaps not as many as he should have. Some creatures only existed because Hythlodaeus saw the passion in his fellow Ancient and simply couldn't say no. He hums at that statement, though.]
Tornado sharks... goodness. What purpose would those serve?
Entertainment, really. [ BB coos, settling herself beside Hyth a bit more comfortably after the chocolate she ate had been consumed. ] It wasn't as if it were real anyway. BB wonders though... What drove your people to make concepts? Was there a reason? A need? Did these concepts serve a purpose to the greater world? Were you intending to fill the world with these concepts? What would happen then, if there were too many concepts in the world? What if you ran out of energy to create these concepts?
All I know is that for a very long time, my people had been creating. Blessed as we were with such powers, it would be a waste not to use them to improve the star, surely? We considered ourselves the stewards of the star, and it became our job to fill it with life.
[Hythlodaeus shrugs, though.]
Overpopulation was never an issue. We took into account that each individual concept must have a natural means of being kept in check, of course. And concepts that did not satisfy certain criteria were simply unmade instead of being released into the world.
BB made alter egos, each one I instilled with an ego of myself. [ Emotions she wanted to discard but ultimately could not. ] Then gave them data over Gods BB had consumed, with each ego I had given them purpose. Whereupon, each one had come into inevitable actualization. BB is surprised that each one did, uniquely, and because of Love Each time... The one Alter Ego, Protea, I needed to lock her away... I suppose... You could say her creation was a problem. She continued to grow so much, and that growth was counteracted with a skill called Regression. For every growth she concurred, she inwardly would lose her senses... BB made a mistake, one that was corrected later on, and now, she is doing well. Otherwise, BB-chan has made many boss monsters! So many, there was a crab. Then a many minotaurs - the servants love to fight big boars and wyverns. Also, the Hydras are great to have them fight against.
[Now this is interesting! He thinks on what BB says for a few moments. He's not sure he entirely understands, which makes him feel a little silly, but nobody was out there making alter egos or eating gods where he came from.]
Crabs and minotaurs were quite common on Etheirys. I'm unsure of what a hydra is, however...

In any case, you needn't be so tense.
SDFNSD screaming

hyth like ok BB nice try
[He settles more comfortably on the floor, petting BB's ears back against her body. He clearly isn't offended that BB tried to hide it from him.]
Goodness, but you really are soft. And you look even more like the moon from here.
[Patting her speckled back, he sets the chocolate on the floor for now incase BB wants to nibble at it later.]

My abilities were taken from me the same as everybody else's, my friend. I have no super sense powers with which to detect anything!
[Yet, anyway.]
I plan to offer my shards to the crystal soon, however. Without my soul sight, I am half blind.

Yeah well, I hope he gives it back to you and it comes back WRONG! [ She mumbles further, ] Cause it could you know!!

Ah, could it? I do hope not.
[Reaching out, he pats her again.]
Come now, do not be angry. Surely I can make it up to you?
[He does feel a little bad, but mostly it's just funny to see a rabbit have a temper tantrum.]

Did your kind make bunnies?

[Nodding, Hythlodaeus scratches lightly behind her ears.]
We did. In particular, Venat was always fond of them. I'm sure she'd be quite taken by your current form!

[ Almost as if - hey, me too! Me too! A statement held in the air, in a way that she wonders if he would like to know more about it. ]

[Hythlodaeus claps his hands together, obviously keenly interested.]
What did you create?
