More- [He has to pause to catch his breath as he gives Hythlodaeus a reassuring nod.] More than good. [His body may feel like a boneless puddle at the moment but it's still humming with pleasure, basking in it.
He makes a soft noise when Hythlodaeus slips out of him, feeling the dribbling mess almost immediately which makes him blush in embarrassment, unsure if that's supposed to happen.]
I apologize. [He says quietly, taking the towel, ears flicked back, as he fights against his body's sluggishness so he can wipe himself clean, front and back.]
Hythlodaeus... thank you. That was... that was very informative. And I very much enjoyed it...
[He reassures him, wiping himself off with another cloth before letting it disappear in his hand. It's less that he sends these things off somewhere else and more that he unmakes them entirely, so at least there isn't someplace just swimming in these things...]
I'm glad. You're welcome for another lesson any time.
[Grinning, he leans in to press a kiss to G'raha's cheek.]
And of course, you are welcome to rest here for a while if you'd like.
Ah. [He's still not sure about that part and he also still feels bad about making a mess of Hythlodaeus' bed. He supposes that's likely unavoidable. But he still can't help worrying, his tail flicking gently.]
I'd like that. [It feels more like an admission than he means it to and tries to fight off another blush. The kiss to his cheek doesn't help but it does make him laugh.] Maybe just for a moment. I dare say, I think I've just used muscles I've not used before. [He laughs again, cleaning himself up.]
It can be tiring. But it is... a good kind of tiring.
[Lying on his back, he closes his eyes and hums.]
Would that I could sleep for a while...
[He'd like that, but he doesn't tend to fall asleep with people he doesn't know as well, simply because the nightmares get to be embarrassing. He's learned he can be more open about them now, but... actually shaking and sweating beside someone who isn't prepared for it can get a little humiliating.]
[G'raha sets the cloth aside after he's finished cleaning up, shifting onto his side so he can curl up a little and look at Hythlodaeus. His tail curls closely around his hip and rests across his thigh. Not for the first time, he's struck by just how beautiful the ancient is.]
Do... ancients not sleep? [He's pretty sure he remembers Emet-Selch speaking of naps or being woken up before but he's an Ascian now, no longer simply an ancient. Perhaps there is something that prevents ancients from sleeping in this city.
He finds himself feeling tempted to reach out and brush some of Hythlodaeus' hair away from his face but he can't quite muster up enough courage to do so.]
[He feels bad for asking, like he's prying, but he hadn't meant to.]
But the last thing you should feel is embarrassed. [He rests his hand on Hythlodaeus' shoulder in an attempt to be reassuring.] I understand not wishing to sleep, however- not when you know you'll slip into a nightmare.
Though it's difficult for me to imagine the man expressing any kind of tenderness or caring, I'm glad Emet-Selch is here for you.
Emet-Selch is the only other soul in this place who understands. For all his bluster and attitude, he can be very gentle and loving when he wants to be. With me, at least.
[He doesn't know if Emet-Selch has been that way with anyone else, but he doesn't really like to think about it. What is the point, when all he needs is to know that Emet-Selch loves him the most?]
I simply cannot help but to feel shame... as I usually do when my emotions or my nightmares get the better of me.
[G'raha looks thoroughly unmoved as Hythlodaeus espouses Emet-Selch's gentle side. He doesn't doubt it. But something Hythlodaeus has said has brought up some slightly more bitter memories of the ascian. He's the only other soul who understands... It's no surprise he shows affection to the man. He is an ancient and thus 'whole' whereas the rest of them are inferior and unworthy of life in Emet-Selch's opinion. It leaves a bad taste in his mouth that he very much wants to move on from. After what they've just done, he can only hope that Hythlodaeus doesn't share that opinion.]
You shouldn't. I know it's easier said than done, but it's through no fault of your own. You can only control your waking emotions. What our minds do in our sleep is not under anyone's control.
But I'm sure I've taken up too much of your time already. I would like, uh, further lessons, if you're amenable to the idea. I'm sure there is still so much to learn.
I did... I mean, I have. I feel well-rested. I only needed a moment.
[It's not exactly a lie. It does feel as though he has his energy back. He'd never intended to nap, he only knew there was no way he'd be getting up immediately.]
I... No, there is not.
[He rolls over, mostly so that he can free his tail, pushing up onto his hands and knees, his tail swishing behind him as he crawls closer, curling up against Hythlodaeus' shoulder.] I can tarry a little longer if you wish.
[Being so much smaller than Hythlodaeus makes it easy to curl up against his chest comfortably. Having an arm around him to tug him closer is even better.
He makes a soft noise like a sheepish mix between a sigh and the start of a chuckle when Hythlodaeus mentions him running off. It does seem somewhat rude after the intimate act they'd just engaged in to leave so quickly.]
I apologize. [He tilts his head into the touch, the fingers brushing through his hair sending a pleasant chill down his spine.]

[He opens his eyes and glances at G'raha, then looks away with a small smile.]
Alas, my sleep is plagued by nightmares. Emet-Selch often has to soothe me in the night. I wouldn't wish to nap here and embarrass myself.
[Despite his cheerful outlook on life for the most part, even he can't forget the horrors of the Final Days.]

[He sits up a little, though.]
Ah, but weren't you going to rest?
[With no idea that he's said anything to make G'raha feel uncomfortable, he just wonders why he's changed his mind.]
Of course, if there is somewhere you must be...

I do quite enjoy your company. 'Twould be a shame if you ran off so quickly.
[Resting against him, he reaches up to pet through his hair.]
