EXTERIOR
Situated in the Up, the outside of Emet-Selch and Hythlodaeus' house is a beautiful white structure covered in blooming pink flowers. A small pool is situated in the modestly sized garden out the back, the water always a pleasant temperature despite the conditions outside.
MAIN HALL
In sharp contrast to the airy and light exterior, the inside of the house takes on a more moody atmosphere. The shapes, colours and styles seen throughout the house are reminiscent of art deco, and the main hall is no exception. There are many windows, and the room has an open feel to it despite the black wallpaper. The staircase leads upstairs to the bedrooms, and doors off to the sides lead to the garden, the living room, and the kitchen.
LIVING ROOM
Golden patterns adorn dark wallpaper in this room, with a comfortable sofa in the centre of the room. Flowers in vases adorn various sleek surfaces, a large ornate mirror hangs upon one wall, and the lighting is usually kept low. A TV sits in the corner of the room, situated where it can be easily seen from the couch. A cabinet with various liquors and glasses is situated nearby.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is spacious, with high windows and light marble surfaces. On one side are the appliances and sink, along with a dining table and comfortable chairs. On the other, a small bar is set up, with more liquors and spirits.
MAIN BEDROOM
Perhaps more regal than necessary given Emet-Selch's inclination towards luxury, the bedroom is once more decorated with flowers at each nightstand, and the bed is big enough to comfortably fit three people. A patterned rug decorates an otherwise bare floor. A white, fluffy cat is usually seen napping on the end of the bed.
GUEST ROOMS
The two guest rooms are both similar in design, with comfortable beds and ceiling-high windows. Hythlodaeus is more likely to bring a lover here than to the main bedroom, out of respect for Emet-Selch. Sheets are washed often and the bed made nicely every day.
BATHROOMS
Marble sinks, ornate mirrors and luxurious bathing supplies are joined to each bedroom. There's also one near the front of the house, which is larger and serves as the "main" bathroom!
LIBRARY
A small, cosy library with a significantly darker feel than the rest of the house. There are blankets scattered about for warm, comfortable reading.
ANTHOS, LITTLE BEAST
Her name means "flower." Given to Hythlodaeus as an egg; this Morbol Marquis, curiously, is much smaller than her kin and boasts a bioluminescent appearance. At about 3 feet tall, her appetite is still just as voracious as it should be, but at least she only eats what she's given. She's very polite.
