Here's something else that might appear differently, though, or we could play around with? Titan shifters like Eren have (at least some of) the memories of those who held those titans before them. Eren has three titans whose power he holds so he has a shit ton of weird memory things going on. Would that affect his soul? idk! maybe! he doesn't experience linear time correctly bc of one of those titans! if this is ever interesting or fun or funny then I'm down to use it however makes sense ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Edited (i swear i can follow directions) 2023-07-05 04:39 (UTC)
Soul Colour: A sort of earthen brown Soul Brightness: Apart from being stubborn enough to stay with the Populares even despite the risks, Maxima is mostly just an average Garlean, so probably not super bright.
Soul Colour: The same blue as his constellation crystal Soul Brightness: Lahabrea is definitely both strong-willed and has a fair amount of magical prowess, which would both contribute to a decent level of brightness! Beyond that, there is also a crack running through his soul from where he tore out Hephaistos and later put him back. While it is as healed as it ever will be, it will likely never look fully complete again.
Name: BB Canon: Fate Soul Colour: uhh umMmmMM silverish blue butterfly shaped (?) Something is making her stuck and barring her from being compared to a human soul. She is SOUL made, whatever makes a soul up she is that but isn't a soul? HOPE THAT HELPS LMAO. Made of a lot of energy but nothing comparable to an Ascian possibly? I will leave that up to you to decide.

Maruki's persona Azathoth is a representation of his willpower/resolve that manifested from the collective unconscious, so it's more or less an extension of his soul. HOWEVER I give you free reign to fuck with this because tbf Azathoth is the most powerful Eldritch god in the Lovecraft mythos (HE AIN'T A GOOD GUY LMAO also flavor text for you to fuck with: the lore is that Azathoth is the "blind idiot god" who is perpetually asleep and all of reality is just a dream that it has, so if it wakes up reality ends! YAYYYY) so the nature of that brightness can be whatever you want it to be.

Name: Saelfen Ustrain Canon: Original Character (heavily based on D&D)
Soul Colour: His soul's color is mostly lavender that fades into a thistle-like gradient. Soul Brightness: Saelfen's soul most likely burns brighter than that of those with less magical ability. Prior to becoming an artificer, Saelfen was regarded as one of the most powerful sorcerers from the Underdark. Even as an artificer, his magic remains impressive.
Soul Colour: lexy don't make this complicated - listen. stop. listen. idk shit about auras. - akechi has two manifestations of his soul/willpower/rebellion. this is unique and primarily bc he is a fucked up little guy. - it's for his lies and hatred ♥ - if this counts as like two????? maybe like an iridescent black opal-esque that's all glowy and weird if u look at it for too long. - if it's one color, like a crow's feather shade of black. DO WHATEVER U WANT. im down to clown however.
Soul Brightness: he's strong-willed and a powerful character/boss in his series. his resolve is focused on one very hyper specific goal and he cares about basically nothing else. probably bright!! ill leave it 2 u.
Soul Colour: a glowing misty blue, just like his eyes when his magic resonates with his emotions. There are also small hints of an otherworldly hue that can't be described with just one color. Soul Brightness: Arrakis's magic comes from a piece of the nameless goddess so his soul is incredibly bright. However the bright light is very fragile to reflect how his strong will is often beaten down by his many insecurities.
Soul Colour: Green Soul Brightness: I assume brighter than normal but not glaringly so. He's a strong willed, determined human, but he's utterly ordinary power-wise compared to canonmates Eren (Titan) and Levi (special human genes, Ackerman edition).
Does have a fire power in Laby, so may have a hint of red in his aether!
Soul Colour: Dark forest green Soul Brightness: Alarmingly bright/noticeable - he contains the Colossal Titan within him, and its power (unnerfed) is equivalent to a nuclear bomb.
Soul Colour: grey-green - think like a stormy sea Soul Brightness: if soul brightness is based on will and power, then eren's is VERY BRIGHT - he's got both in SPADES (essentially god-like power so BRIGHT yeah)
Name: Mewtwo Canon: Pokemon (anime/movie-verse) Soul Colour: light blue, with a slight dappling, like sunlight across water. Soul Brightness: as a Legendary Pokemon, Mewtwo is extremely powerful, possibly bordering on demi-god status. He's also definitely very willful, so...like...pretty bright? :D
Mew and Mewtwo also have some sort of vague connection to the concept of eternal life/the origin of all (Pokemon)life/something something mystical powers, so Hyth can pick up on that too if you like!
Soul Colour: Deep red Soul Brightness: Average, perhaps slightly dimmer. He has some determination hidden behind his anxious nature, but it only comes out occasionally.
Name: Naoya Canon: Devil Survivor Soul Colour: Green like a budding plant. Soul Brightness: There's something obviously wrong with his soul, having an extremely powerful curse from God wrapped around it. He's much much older than he looks, and while there's signs of magic there it's also clearly a standard mortal soul underneath, just altered by all of his... cursed-ness.

Name: Hakuno Kishinami Canon: Fate ( EXTRA ) Soul Colour: Pale Gold Soul Brightness: VERY BRIGHT!!! - Tamamo-no-Mae, a Fate character associated with the Sun, stated that Hakuno has a very "handsome" soul. She doesn't elaborate on what that means, but we can assume that Hakuno's soul differs from the rest despite her bland appearance as an NPC. - The one who refuses to die and screams that she wants to live more than anybody else. - Hakuno is exceptionally strong-willed. The only thing she can pride herself on is her willpower and determination. Her true nature shows off in the face of death. - BB threw her into an endless dog space where she crawled on all fours but refused to give up. She felt like she had been crawling for years but didn't stop simply because she refused to stop, find an exit, and return to her friends, even though BB was whispering to her and demanding she give up. - Hakuno also became a walking skeleton trying to save her Servant. Soul Colour: vivid emerald green—his theme color, so that's a given. Soul Brightness: As a ghost, he is 100% soul, and he is a powerful spirit (the fourth strongest known ghost in his canon). He is incredibly obstinate, as you have to have a strong purpose binding you to the world to become a ghost in the first place. I'd say he'd be decidedly on the bright side.
Name: Kurogiri Canon:My Hero Academia
Soul Colour: Kurogiri's nature is weird, as he was murdered—but then his body was brought back to life. The person who resurrected him tried to give him an entirely new consciousness—but didn't realize that the original consciousness had not been eliminated. Now Kurogiri is an unusual, artificial, confusing mixture of his original soul and something "other". Due to the nature of his cloud powers, this may manifest something like a gray fog with spots of brighter, sunlit cloud—however you think that might appear through the soul sight. Soul Brightness: His will is death-defying, and his ability is considerable.
Soul Colour: A vivid, almost violent orange, not dissimilar to a sunset. Soul Brightness: Explosively bright, he'll break things before he'll admit he's wrong about something 90% of the time, and even though he's not as proficient as he should be at magic, he's effectively an arcane construct with a living soul. He's just one step shy of being nothing but magic with a face and a bad attitude.
Name: Tobias Canon: Animorphs Soul Colour: A russet brown - unassuming and blending in. Soul Brightness: He's more strong-willed than some but he's also got alien technology at his fingertips, not magic. That said, his father is an alien, so there might be a strand of strangeness to it.
Soul Colour: The color of blue fire (which is also his ability). Soul Brightness: He is very strong-willed, and his power is also extremely strong, so I assume it would be bright and fiery.
Soul Colour: While maroon is tempting, it's likely a glowing light blue Soul Brightness: He might sense the strength/presence/connection he has to his ancestors, which might make his soul brighter. I'd say he's also fairly strong-willed.
Soul Colour: Distinctly colorless (his soul looks exactly like every other monster's) Soul Brightness: Very bright; very brittle. I've described it like a light bulb, compared to the bonfire of an ancient's soul. Totally alien. Appears somehow "inverted" compared to the average human's soul. More fragile than a human's soul; more emotionally attuned than a human's.
Soul Colour: Something like a faded sand-gold Soul Brightness: Dimmer for obvious reasons, plus that aetherial corruption. With player permission, the Lahabrea and I are also playing with the idea that there's a small leftover mark on Thancred's soul for playing host to Lahabrea. It's not super obvious, though; more of a miss-it-unless-you-squint sort of thing, like a faded scar.
Name: Vander Canon: Arcane Soul Colour: soft violet (his daughter's name, and a mixture of the hair colours of both his daughters- blue and pink) Soul Brightness: Vander is very strong-willed, and very physically strong. He is otherwise Just Some Guy. So, probably brighter than average, but not super.
Name: Elijah Canon: original character Soul Colour: Fiery/blood red Soul Brightness: Very strong willed and has very powerful magic (muted in Karteria).
